Lansweeper reporting capabilities can be automated and an API can be employed for connectivity.  The configuration item (CI) information pulled from Lansweeper can provide nearly 'live' and fairly accurate information for the state of CI's on the network. 

 

The data, when pulled into Excel or Power BI can be manipulated to produce additional and insightful results when paired with other data sources.

 

T-SQL code is produced by the Lansweeper engine and can be altered to produce more refined output.  An example of alterations I've performed below is the use of the Str, Convert, and Cast functions.
